2010 TIDC Call for Entries

The Taiwan International Design Competition (TIDC) is entering its ninth consecutive year. In the nine years of its existence it has already cultivated an extensive international reputation.
The 2010 event invites competition entries under the theme "Beneficence".
Beneficent Design returns to the natural essence of life from initial design considerations to eco-friendliness. Emphasis on a humanistic affection and local cultural characteristics applied in the implementation of innovation means to love the earth and sustain life, provide the world with an abundance of technology and humanity with goodness and natural beauty.
Qualification
1. Designers
2. Teachers or students of design related departments or schools
3. General Public interested in design. (With no restrictions on nationality and age)
4. Participants can join the competition as individuals or in teams. There is no limit on the number of entries.
Entries
Forms in product design, visual communication, packaging design, digital media, etc. that reflect the theme “Beneficence”.
Registration Deadline
October 8, 2010, 24:00 Taipei local time (GMT+08:00)
Deadline for Preliminary Selection
October 15, 2010, 17:00 Taipei local time (GMT+08:00) validated by postmark date
Final Selection
November 22, 2010
Award Ceremony and Exhibition
December 11-19, 2010
